The Wilson Foundation
Point of Excellence Luncheon Winners

The Wilson Foundation is pleased to be the recipient of two annual "Point of Excellence" luncheons hosted by Wilson Associates. These annual events are held in Dallas and in Los Angeles, and were established by Wilson Associates to honor excellence in service to the design industry. Each year, several vendors and service providers are selected to receive the "Point of Excellence" award. Because the luncheon is underwritten by Wilson Associates, 100% of the proceeds benefit The Wilson Foundation.

The ninth annual Point of Excellence Awards Event in Los Angeles was held on September 23, 2009 at Wilshire Park Elementary, a Los Angeles public school that The Wilson Foundation supports. Over 150 people gathered to network and celebrate the announcement of the 2009 Point of Excellence Award winners, Sari Polinger of Sari Polinger Asssociates and 5-Star Interior Services, Inc.

The 13th annual Dallas event was held on November 12, 2009 at Rosewood Crescent Court Hotel. Wilson Associates recently completed a full renovation of the Rosewood Crescent's ballroom, salon and conference room space, so the firm was pleased to show off the elegant new design at the event. Andrea Cepale of Cepale Associates and Hill & Associates were presented the 2009 Point of Excellence Awards. Special guests at the Dallas luncheon were Dr. Peter Farrant and Mary Stephenson of the Waterberg Welfare Society (WWS) in Vaalwater, South Africa. They provided an update on the growth and progress of their organization, thanks to the generous support of The Wilson Foundation.

Congratulations to all the 2009 Point of Excellence Award winners!

How You Can Help

There are many ways you can support our efforts to bring help and hope to the children of South Africa. While we receive many generous offers to donate products, supplies and other items, the cost to ship these items to South Africa is often prohibitive. Therefore, we encourage monetary donations to help meet local needs.
